Seminars and Reading Groups

Seminar

SOLS graduate students participate in a variety of seminars and reading groups.  Brown Bag, which is run by the graduate students, is a forum wherein grads can present their upcoming job talks, conference presentations, or even pilot data to get feedback from their peers.  Additionally, there are several reading groups that have formed, with members discussing the most current topics in their discipline over food or drink.  Lastly, graduate students attend, and occasionally host, the SOLS seminars, which are presentations by some of the most well-respected scientists in their fields.
